Hello, I’m Sina. I live in Calpe and started Calpe Local because I wanted a more useful guide to the town.
I live here with my family and deal with the same everyday questions as everyone else. Where can you park in August? Which beach is manageable with children? Is somewhere genuinely worth the drive, or does it just look good online?
Calpe Local is where those questions are answered with practical detail, current information and an honest view of who each place or option actually suits.
Why I started Calpe Local
Most Calpe guides tell you what is here. I wanted to explain what it is actually like.
When I looked for useful information about Calpe, I kept finding pages that named places without answering the questions that decide whether they are right for your day.

I started Calpe Local to create the guide I wanted to find: locally informed, practical enough to use and honest when a place has drawbacks. Rick Attwood writes and updates the articles.
